Climate

Polar lands are Polar lands because of its lack of warm summers. The temperature in Antarctica can range between -10ËšC and -60. Its average winter temperature is -60ËšC. The Average temperature in summer is -20ËšC. Antarctica has no rain it does have snow and ice crystals that fall from the sky. The snow that does fall doesn't melt, it stays there and becomes more compact to make sheets of ice. The precipitation at Esperanza Base in 2015 shows 22.5mm as its most, This was in March. As you can see from the graph the day lengths get longer as the temperature goes up.
