Polar Lands
Physical Features: 98% of antarctica is covered in ice, Antarctica's surface is really steap, especially near the top, the curcumfrense of Antarctica is 17,968 Kilometers in length all the way around. The ice cap that covers the contenent is more than 2 Kilometers thick.

How it was created: Antarctica was created when it detached from pangea. It was a range of glacier-topped mountains like those found in Alaska. Scientists have known for some time that the Antarctic Ice Sheet formed around 14 million years ago. The knowing of how the ice was formed is still not know very well by scientists. They are still working out how it was formed. One theory is that when rain fell it became snow and after many years it keeped getting compacted.
